Corporate Report
Tamrotor Marine Compressors
Tamrotor Marine Compressors (TMC) is the world’s leading supplier of compressed air systems for marine and offshore use. The product range consists of screw compressors, dryers and filters for any demand of compressed air, including oil-free air. TMC has a worldwide service, spare parts and sales network.

TMC’s quality products and services are being recognised by users and trade organisations. This year, TMC was awarded the Samsung-Q Mark. Previous nominations include the 2006 Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment Seatrade Award and the ONS Innovation Award.

New Compressor for Large Capacities – TMC 240-365
This year, TMC is introducing a new compressor for the largest capacity range: the TMC 240-365. All service points are accessible from one side, which means that placement is flexible not only in terms of height but also in terms of horizontal space, as it is not necessary to be able to access the compressor from more than one side. All canopy walls can be removed.

TMC Smart Air® – The Environmentally Friendly Compressor
The frequency-controlled compressor controls the capacity and power consumption precisely to the air demand. This means a 35–40% energy saving – which also means a reduction in CO2 emission. Constant pressure in the network at all times will minimise power consumption and reduce the wear on the compressor. Soft start will increase the lifetime on the transmission such as belts and couplings and give lower pressure and less movement on all parts. All of this leads to a 25–30% reduction in the life-cycle cost.

Spare Parts Kits for Cost-saving and Ease of Maintenance
Non-original spare parts are becoming more sophisticated, but the risk is still the same. Material specification is often rationalised, resulting in rapid wear, compromised performance, poor reliability, higher oil and fuel consumption and even component damage or system failure. To make it even easier to choose original TMC spare parts, TMC introduces spare part kits. These kits contain all of the parts that should be replaced after a certain number of running-hours/years, and include instructions for changing the parts.

Benefits of using kits include lower price per part, time saved on ordering and checking, certainty of getting all necessary parts and no unnecessary parts.
