James Boucher (p.4) – I am studying politics, economics, geography and maths at A-level at
Tonbridge School in Kent. I have a special interest in land economics and development issues. I
have travelled widely, and my hobbies include film-making, photography, cricket and football. ■
James Brown (p.6) – I represent the school at rugby, cricket and hockey, and often compete
for my house. Other interests include the Combined Cadet Force – I usually attend three to four
trips each year with it, and this summer I will be going to Sennybridge in Wales. I love travelling,
and for the first seven years of my life I lived in Hong Kong, so I regularly go back to visit old
friends and to see how fast the city is changing. ■
Oli Frost (p.8) – I play the drums in a band and row on the river in Cambridge. I am currently
studying the sciences and philosophy at the Perse School. ■
Chris Lippard (p.10) – My hobbies and interests include participating in school debates, the
Duke of Edinburgh Gold award, fencing for my school and in competitions, digital photography
and materials science, which I intend to study at university. ■
James Littlefair (p.12) – I am at the Perse School in Cambridge, studying for A levels in
geography, economics, politics and further maths. I intend to study economics at university. I also
play a lot of sports, including golf, hockey and pool. I enjoy travelling, particularly across Europe,
seeing as many places as possible. ■
