Programme Objectives
This course is designed to develop sound Human Resource policies and manage risk associated with Federal Law No. 8 application within an organisation.
On successful completion of the course delegates would be able to:
- Interpret applicable Articles and Ministerial Orders of Federal Law no 8 of 1980
- Understand how Articles and Ministerial Orders are linked to each other and applied within an organisation
- Understand critical aspects of the proposed new Labour Law and its impact

- Comprehend evidence requirement by the MOL to determine if establishments conform to Federal Law no. 8 0f 1980

Course Description
The Course provides vital insight into the requirements of the Ministry of Labour in line with the Federal Governments commitment as a member and signatory to the International Labour Organisation, Geneva. Besides covering vital aspects of the labour law it highlights all the ratified ILO Conventions signed by the United Arab Emirates. It prepares companies for ever increasing labour inspections, a commitment the Federal Government has embarked on to regulate the labour market and to ensure the rights of migrant workers are met.
