Appreciation of the strategic forces involved and mastery of the tactics and operational techniques required in delivering the benefits of integrated supply chain management is an essential part of the toolkit of any manager working in today’s increasingly global supply environment.
This course is designed for:
People from all functions involved in the supply chain, including Purchasing and Procurement, Logistics, Distribution, Production, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, who are responsible and accountable for the effective management of an integrated supply chain and require to improve their knowledge, skills and performance.
Aims
To provide participants with the ability to:
- understand the concept of supply chains and demonstrate knowledge of logistics operations.
- lead in the creation of integrated supply chains using and applying checklists and models for planning and improvement of existing networks appreciating the need for collaborative behaviour.
- critically analyse and evaluate best practice solutions identifying those best suited to their own business application.
- devise and utilise effective measures of performance to maintain and sustain improved supply chain operations.
