On 8 May 2006, FLEXIM Instruments LLC officially opened its new Operations and Development Center in Edgewood (NY, US). The new centre will strengthen FLEXIM’s presence in the North American market. It will not only support senior management as well as sales, administration and technical service operations, but also research and development. The centre will be led by two veterans in the domain of ultrasonic flow measurement; John J O’Brien and Israel ‘Izzy’ Rivera.
More New Offices . . . in Shanghai and Singapore
After founding FLEXIM Instruments Asia Pte Ltd in May 2005, FLEXIM now has an office in Shanghai. The reliability of FLEXIM’s ultrasonic flow meter FLUXUS is appreciated in Asia. With the opening of the Shanghai office, FLEXIM wants to offer its customers in Asia the same quality and the same service as on the European and North American market.
Mr Yi Liu has been appointed Managing Director for China. He brings many years of experience in the domain of ultrasonic flow measurement, including as Country Manager for Panametrics China. Managing Director of FLEXIM Instruments Asia Pte Ltd is Mr Claus Weihermüller. As Sales Manager for Europe for the last few years, Claus Weihermüller played a decisive role in developing FLEXIM’s European Sales Network.

Measure from Outside What’s Flowing Inside
FLEXIM’S FLUXUS® ADM flow meter series is one of the most flexible solutions for flow measurement available on the market. The clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are ideal for chemically aggressive, corrosive or ultra-pure media and can be installed rapidly, without pipe-work and without interruption of the process. Transducers are available for pipe diameters ranging from 6 to 6500mm (0.24 to 256in) and temperatures from -30 to 400°C (-22 to 752°F). All FLEXIM clamp-on transducers are watertight and suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. ATEX certified transducers and transmitters for explosive atmosphere are also available.
