Our quick-operated couplings are Dry Disconnect Coupling, Dry Aviation Coupling and Dry Gas Coupling. Add to that the new Safety Break-away Coupling which eliminates pull-away accidents. Mann Tek Full Flow Ballvalves can be operated directly or remotely with pneumatic. Both the one-way and two-way valves are optimised to reduce pressure drop. With Mann Tek Swivels rotational stress is eliminated in applications when pipes are moving.
Dry Disconnect Couplings
Push it on, turn it with the convenient handles – that´s all. No bolts, no tools, no drip or spill. Our users testify that it is very easy. They are therefore the obvious and preferred choice in situations when accidental spill would be both expensive and hazardous, no matter whether it is gas or liquid. These couplings are available for a variety of different applications, due to the wide range of materials, connections and sealing. Our Dry Disconnect Couplings will solve your problem for all transfers, from clean water, to toxic chemicals, to fuel.
Dry Gas Couplings are a further development of the Dry Disconnect Coupling. They are made to withstand the harshest conditions when handling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), but yet are easy to operate. Compared to a traditional coupling, your yearly loss of spill will be reduced, with thousand of USD for each coupling. Dry Gas Couplings are of course safe, with most types of such transfers adhering to important standards (f ex EN 13760:2003(E)).
Dry Aviation Couplings are your best choice in the transfer of aviation fuel. These are super easy to operate due to a bayonet-like attachment. They are made according to the common standards to fuel in the aviation industry: STANAG 3105/ISO45/MS 24484.
Safety Break-away Couplings are your best insurance to avoid accidents when pumping to or from vehicles like tank trucks, rail cars, vessel boats etc. Such vehicles might move and put force or stress onto pipes, tubes or hoses. Or a truck driver might forget to disconnect prior to driving away the the loaded vehicle. Before anything breaks and causes a disastrous situation, our Safety Break-away Couplings will shut its valves in both connected ends and then disconnect. This occurs at a certain predetermined force. Instead of a catastrophic incident, maybe with high environmental impact, there is hardly any drip or spill at all. You cannot make a better strategic choice. It is also your guarantee against Murphy’s law and human error. For the highest safety and minimum risk there are two varieties, the industrial type and the marine type.
Full Flow Ball Valves maximise a good flow and minimise turbulence and pressure drop. Their design results in the highest flexibility, which makes it easy to accomplish any task in the transfer of fuel, such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel etc. in tank trucks or similar applications. The Full Flow Ball Valves are easily handle-operated, or with remote operated pneumatic 90-degree spindle operation. Remote operation makes it easy to implement in an event-based system, when multiple actions must occur dependent on each other. We have two different Full Flow Ball Valves types, one-way (one inlet-one outlet) and two-way (one inlettwo outlet). Swivels from Mann Tek give rotational latitude between hoses or pipes and nozzles. Moveable objects connected to each other might cause repeated force to nozzles and hoses, with the result of stress to the material. Such stress weakens the solidity and decreases the strength. A swivel creates flexibility and distributes the moving forces, with the result of preserved solidity and long-life operation of such equipment. They are available in a variety of connection types and materials, suitable to most applications of your choice.
