NICOL STEPHEN VISITS VIBTECH AT RUSSIAN SHOW

Vibtech, the developer of wireless solutions for the oil, gas and mineral exploration sector, was honoured by a visit from Nicol Stephen MSP, Scottish Parliament Deputy First Minister and Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning, at a recent exhibition in Moscow.

The company was exhibiting its ground-breaking Unite cable free remote data acquisition and transmission system at the NEFTEGAZ 2006 exhibition and conference, and John Flavell Smith of Vibtech explained the workings of the system to Mr Stephen.

More than XXX delegates attended Vibtech’s stand at the event, which is an international exhibition of equipment for the oil and gas industries.

Mr Flavell Smith said: “We were honoured that Mr Stephen took time out from his busy schedule at the show to come and visit our stand and find out more about our products.

“He certainly seemed interested in the successful tests we have undertaken with Unite and, because we are based in Scotland, was eager to learn more about Vibtech as a company.

“NEFTEGAZ 2006 was a hugely successful event for us and raised awareness of our product portfolio among key players in the Eastern European oil and gas industry. We certainly attracted a high level of interest and will be looking to build on that in the future.”
