Entering the commercial market in 1985 with its innovative solid state MOS H2S sensor, the manufacturing company today has grown to include factory service centres around the world and an expanisve inventory of state-of-the-art gas detection solutions.
Model 700 Gas Detection Sensors Model Series 700 is Detcon's newest generation of Intelligent gas detection sensors. Dubbed as ‘environmentally bulletproof’, the 700 line includes an electro-polished 316 stainless steel housing, multilayered surge protection, and 100% encapsulated electronics, completely protecting the sensor from water ingress and corrosion. All sensor elements are plug-in field replaceable. Outputs include 4–20mA and Modbus™ RS–485.
Model 600 MicroSafe Gas Detection Sensors Model Series 600 MicroSafe™ Intelligent gas detection sensors feature a non-intrusive interface and plug-in field replaceable components. These ‘smart’ sensors incorporate intuitive operating software and are designed to detect and monitor a wide range of toxic gases, combustible gas and oxygen deficiency. Sensor outputs include 4–20 mA, Modbus RS-485 and alarm relays. Sensor technologies include solid state MOS, catalytic bead, electrochemical, infrared and photo ionization.
Single Sensor Control Card Gas Detection and Alarm Systems Detcon’s Model 10 and Model 12 single sensor control card gas detection systems supervise and display the status of a single remote sensor assembly. Modules are available for combustible gas, oxygen deficiency and various toxic gases. Packaging is available from four to sixteen channels with NEMA 1, 4X and 7 options. Outputs include 4–20 mA, Modbus RS-485 and alarm relays (two for Model 10; three for Model 12).
Product 2 – Multi-Channel Gas Detection and Control Systems Detcon’s multi-channel gas detection alarm and control systems monitor and control multiple gas detection sensors and other field devices. The systems are user friendly and field programmable. The systems accept 4–20mA and RS–485 inputs and includes alarm relays. The Model 440 is a four-channel system; Model 1600A monitors up to 16 channels, and the PLC based Model 880 can monitor up to 32 serial or 72 analog devices. Process Gas Analysers Detcon Model 1000 gas analysers are designed to provide accurate and continuous measurement of target gas concentrations in all types of process gas streams. Model 1000 analysers offer the enduser a space-efficient modular design and simple field calibration and typically require minimum maintenance over a wide variety of target gas applications. The most frequent applications include contract-compliant measurement of H2S and CO2 in natural gas pipelines at both the treating plant level and custody transfer stations.
