3D perception is a Norwegian based limited stock company with its head office in Asker, some 18 km south west of Oslo. The company supplies the simulation, automation and entertainment industries with projection, and projection related equipment. Main products include unique digital technology for geometrical correction of images when projected on to curved screens. The technology also makes it possible to seamlessly combine images from two or more projectors, and to adjust both the colour balance and gamma in order to obtain smooth and realistic images in complicated projection theatres. The unique technology is available in projectors, in image generators and as stand-alone units.
It is of paramount importance to 3D perception to be able to serve the market professionally and swiftly and to meet the market expectations at any time. This is achieved through a combination of a small but highly qualified in-house staff and a high degree of outsourcing. Production, testing, packing, dispatch and shipment are all outsourced activities.
